How It Works

1. Registration

Complete your Learner Profile on Coursera. Add details about your work preferences, upload your latest resume, and complete the required fields. And, make sure you opt into sharing this information with employers!

2. Assessment

Once your profile is visible to employers, you’ll be invited to take a job-aligned assessment via email. You can take a Data Analytics Assessment, a Software Developer Assessment, or even both. Note: you may only take each assessment once.


This will start on February 1, 2023,
at 6 a.m. IST and end on March 6,
2023, at 11:59pm IST

3. Declaration of Results

We will announce the top scoring learners via email and distribute the prizes.

You’re eligible for job placement when you’ve completed first two steps, and Coursera will share your profile and assessment results with our participating employers. Recruiters will be able to reach out directly to you via email for the next steps in the hiring process if you are selected.

The challenge is open to 2nd and 3rd year students taking a Engineering/MCA Degree course Students of Dual degree courses (B.Tech+M.Tech) are eligible to participate as well Only Coursera for Campus learners with a valid email ID are eligible to participate. Other learners will not have access to the new Learner Profile that contains the “share with employers” toggle.
Log in to your Coursera account at coursera.org. Navigate to https://www.coursera.org/account-profile. Fill out the required sections and turn on “share with employers”. This will register you for the hackathon. If you do not see the “share with employers” switch, you, your institution, or your account are not eligible for the hackathon.
Yes, the registration deadline is extended till March 3, 2023.
No, Only Coursera learners can participate in this Hackathon. Your institution must be part of Coursera for Campus
You should sign up as an individual only.
Your profile and assessment scores will only be visible to Coursera and the companies who have partnered with Coursera specifically to recruit learners.
